Our Send it Sunday series has been riding strong as our October edition brought us to number five.
So far, we’ve hit our mark of mixing up the routes in the San Gabriel and Santa Monica Mountains as Southern California has a number of great options for gravel.
The October ride was supposed to take place in the north San Fernando Valley, but due to the Saddle Ridge Fire, we moved to Dirt Mulholland.
While it’s a pretty well traveled area of trails by hikers and bikers alike, we still hit some dirt that was unfamiliar to some of these well traveled riders.
As for me, about halfway through the ride I lost my phone, setting up a series of comical events with me chasing around Topanga State Park only to realize I left it at our last stop.
Oh well.
